My Inca Trail trip
Just got back from the Inca Trail Trek! It was awesome. The group was cool, and the views were insane. Everything was pretty smooth, no complaints.
Consistently reliable tours
This was my third trip with G Adventures, this time the Japan Express. Like my previous tours (Vietnam and Italy), the organization was solid. The guides are always top-notch, and the accommodations are what you expect for a small group adventure. I appreciate that they maintain a consistent level of quality. I did notice this trip felt a bit more fast-paced than my last one, but maybe that's just Japan. Still, I keep coming back because I know what I'm getting.
Worth the investment
I was looking for a good deal on a bigger trip and found G Adventures during their January Sale. I managed to get 15% off the Peru Panorama tour, which felt like a significant saving on the total cost. I compared it to a few other companies, and even without the discount, G Adventures seemed to offer a lot for the price. The Lifetime Deposit policy also sounded good, just in case. The booking was simple, and they sent plenty of info leading up to the departure. For what I paid, it was definitely worth it, especially as a first-timer on an organized tour. I felt like I got good value for my money without cutting corners on the experience.
Good trip, slow communication
I booked the Costa Rica Quest trip back in the spring. The booking process itself was straightforward on their site, no issues there. The tour itself was well-organized once we got there, our guide was knowledgeable, and the activities were fun. My only real gripe was getting answers from customer service before the trip. It took a few days to hear back about a small detail on my pre-departure info, which made me a bit anxious. Overall, good value for the experience, but they could improve on response times.
